Kozy Korner Books N More Spreads the Joy of Reading to Paradise Basic School

At Kozy Korner Books N More, we believe that books have the power to transform lives, especially in the hands of young minds eager to explore the world through reading. In keeping with this belief, we recently made a meaningful contribution to the Paradise Basic School in Montego Bay by donating a total of 54 book titles to help establish a library for the students.

The donation aims to create an environment where children can develop a love for reading from an early age. With this new library, students will have the opportunity to borrow books, take them home, and immerse themselves in stories that inspire creativity, knowledge, and imagination.

During the official handover, Kozy Korner Books N More representative, Mr. Orlando Henry, presented the donated books to Mrs. Lorna Shakes, Principal of Paradise Basic School. The school community warmly welcomed this initiative, expressing gratitude for the invaluable addition to their educational resources. “We are truly appreciative of this generous donation,” said Mrs. Shakes. “Having access to a variety of books will encourage our young learners to read more, and that’s a gift that keeps on giving.”

At Kozy Korner Books N More, we are dedicated to supporting literacy and education in our communities. We look forward to seeing the students of Paradise Basic School benefit from this initiative and hope that this small step will ignite a lifelong passion for reading among them.

This donation was made possible because of our ongoing book drive dubbed “Kozy Book Nook” where persons can donate new and gentle-used books.
